'X-MEN: APOCALYPSE' Trailer #SoElectric

April 27, 2016

20th Century Fox has released a new trailer for their upcoming film X-Men: Apocalypse and it seems that it will be the final trailer released prior to the movie’s premiere. As devastation and destruction threaten the Earth, the world is yet again in need of the X-Men. Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) returns to the mansion to help Professor X (James McAvoy) lead his team of young X-Men to fight against and stop the all-powerful first mutant Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac) and his Four Horseman: Storm (Alexandra Shipp), Angel (Ben Hardy), Psyloche (Olivia Munn), and Magneto (Michael Fassbender).

X-Men made me feel represented. #soelectric

I am excited to see this film, as I have been a fan of the X-Men since I was a little girl. My brother and I used to read the comics and that is where my love began. When the cartoon series came along we watched every episode. I have always had a special place in my heart for Storm. Who wouldn’t love her? She can control the weather, she can fly, and the color of her tresses is totally on trend. Actually, I think I fell in love with Storm because she made me feel represented in the Marvel universe; she looked like me. I have even cosplayed as Storm for Dragon Con, the “world’s largest fantasy/SF convention,” which is held annually during Labor Day weekend in Atlanta.

Here's a pic of me and Jon Snow, something I fondly refer to as the Snow Storm.

Synopsis, written by 20th Century Fox:
Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns with X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

X-Men: Apocalypse will be in cinemas 27 May.
