That’s right—The Walt Disney Company and Miral, Abu Dhabi’s powerhouse of immersive destinations, are teaming up, and Disneyland Abu Dhabi is officially happening.

This new theme park is not just another castle in the sand—it’s set to redefine what we think is possible when it comes to immersive, next-generation entertainment.

His Excellency Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman at Miral, said it best:

“What we are creating with Disney in Abu Dhabi is a whole new world of imagination—an experience that will inspire generations across the region and the world.”

Okay, can we just take a moment to appreciate that real-life Disney execs are quoting Aladdin? Iconic.

This project is HUGE. Not only will it bring Disney’s most beloved characters, stories, and worlds to a new region, but it will also infuse that experience with authentic Emirati culture, contemporary art, and dazzling futuristic design. And let’s not forget: This isn’t just about building a park—it’s about building a legacy.

Although Disney is keeping many of the park’s features under wraps (cue the suspense!), here’s what we do know:

• The resort will include themed accommodations (yes, Disney hotels with an Arabian twist!).
• Expect unique dining and immersive shopping experiences.
• Disney’s legendary Imagineers will lead the creative design, ensuring the signature magic is front and center.
• The storytelling will blend classic Disney tales with Abu Dhabi’s innovative spirit and cultural richness.
• The resort will be operated by Miral, the same team behind many of Yas Island’s premier destinations.
