Just in time for #EarthDay,
20th Century Fox released a new Independence Day: Resurgence tailer.
It has been twenty years
since the first wave of aliens attempted to invade and destroy Earth. Can you
believe it? Bill Pullman was President Thomas J. Whitmore and Will
Smith was kicking ass as Captain Steven Hiller back then. Now, two decades after the first
attempted invasion there is a new threat against the Earth.
Storyline
written by 20th Century Fox:
We always knew they were
coming back. After INDEPENDENCE DAY redefined the event movie genre, the next
epic chapter delivers global spectacle on an unimaginable scale. Using
recovered alien technology, the nations of Earth have collaborated on an
immense defense program to protect the planet. But nothing can prepare us for
the aliens’ advanced and unprecedented force. Only the ingenuity of a few brave
men and women can bring our world back from the brink of extinction.

This looks like it's going to be pretty sweet. I don't know why the trailer is kind of reminding me of The Martian.
ReplyDeleteHi Carrie! I hope this movie lives up to the legacy of the first Independence Day film. The clips of the video calls and spaceships in the trailer do kind of remind me of the Martian.
