Jason Isaacs plays the doctor who runs the wellness center and Mia Goth and Celia Imrie play patients. As a Harry Potter fan, I am somewhat accustomed to Isaacs playing a role of of a person in power with malevolent intensions.

Gore Verbinski who directed The Lone Ranger, The Ring, and the first three Pirates of the Caribbean films helms A Cure for Wellness based on an idea of his that was turned into a screenplay by Justin Haythe.
