The Doctor & His Companion: Matt Smith & Jenna Coleman Attend Pre-BAFTA Bash

The Doctor and his companion were recently reunited, and the pair looked so good while catching up. Matt Smith and Jenna Coleman embrace while attending Harvey Weinstein's pre-BAFTA dinner on Friday in London, England. The dinner, held in partnership with Burberry and Grey Goose, at Little House in Mayfair marked the third time the film producer and fashion brand teamed up for such an event.
The former Doctor Who co-stars looked happy to reconnect with each other and did it in style. Coleman and Smith first met in 2012 when Matt was playing the Eleventh Doctor in the BBC's iconic sci-fi series Doctor Who. Jenna was first introduced to Doctor Who fans as Oswin (Souffle Girl) in Asylum of the Daleks but then reintroduced as Clara Oswin Oswald in the Christmas special The Snowmen. Coleman became a show favorite with her portrayal of Doctor Who companion Clara, the longest serving companion on the show. Coleman left the show last year (2015) and now stars as the titular character in the TV series Victoria and will co-star in the upcoming film Me Before You, which will be in theaters 3 June 2016. Smith who left Doctor Who in 2014 stars in Sony Pictures' Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and will play Phillip Duke of Edinburgh in the new TV series The Crown.

Matt Smith's Pride and Prejudice and Zombies co-star, Douglas Booth, was also in attendance. Other celebrities in attendance at this star-studded event include Luther's Idris Elba, Game of Throne's co-stars Emilia Clarke and Charles Dance, Carol's Cate Blanchett, and How to Be Single's Dakota Johnson. Johnson was nominated for the EE Rising Star Award for 2016 but lost the award to newcomer Star Wars' John Boyega.
