'Marvel's DareDevil' Netflix Premiere Date Set

January 09, 2015

Netflix announced earlier this week that a premiere date has been set for its original live action series, Marvel’s Daredevil. The streaming service will release all 13 episodes of the show simultaneously on Friday, April 10th. This will be the first of several Marvel superhero series coming to Netflix. The edgy action drama stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, a blind attorney who fights injustice in the courtroom by day and as superhero “Daredevil” in the streets of modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City, by night. The season one cast includes some amazing actors which includes: Vincent D’Onofrio who plays villain Kingpin, aka Wilson Fisk; Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple; Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page; Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson; Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Marianna; Scott Glenn, Vondie Curtis Hall, and Judith Delgado.

Marvel’s Daredevil is the first of four planned Netflix series from Marvel. In recent years the streaming service has been focused on providing more original continent and will roll out Marvel’s A.K.A Jessica Jones (set to premiere next year), Marvel’s Iron Fist, Marvel’s Luke Cage, and mini-series event Marvel's The Defenders as part of this mission. With network television shows like Marvel's Agent Carter and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., it will be interesting to see how Netflix’s offering stacks up.

Make sure to catch season one of Marvel’s Daredevil when it premieres on April 10, 2015 on Netflix.
