Liam Neeson is back at it in Taken 3! To this point the first taken to me is the best but Taken 3 may prove that a sequel can be better than the original. We'll see come January 9th!
One of the
most anticipated NBC shows The Blacklist returned last Monday for
season 2. If you have seen this show then you're probably obsessed
with this show like I am. James Spader is the king of Monday night!
Last week's
premiere of season 2 opened with Raymond Reddington in the trunk of a
car speeding down a dirt road in a country in Africa. We soon find
out that Red has intentionally gotten himself caught by a warlord in
hopes of obtaining information about Berlin. He's armed with $3
million in cash as incentive for the warlord to give up whatever
information he has on Berlin and the names of the other people Berlin
has hired to find Red. The money doesn't seem to be enough to
convince the warlord so Red secret weapon, hellfire missiles, seem to
be a bit more persuasive. We now have a name...Lord Baltimore.

Run, don't walk, to see this movie! I love everything that Simon Pegg is in and Hector And The Search For Happiness is no exception. It has everything you want in a movie - adventure, humor, love. This movie is about one man's journey in search of happiness and takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions and much more. It was enlightening, funny, and reflective.
Having a bad day? See HECTOR AND THE SEARCH FOR HAPPINESS! You won't regret it! It's a therapy session.

We are in a time when young-adult science fiction is reigning supreme at the box office. 20th Century Fox's The Maze Runner (directed by Wes Ball) is no exception. I have not read any of the books from The Maze Runner series by James Dashner but watching this movie made me want to.
The Maze Runner is about the journey of boy and his friends surviving in a post-apocalyptic world. The opening scene of The Maze Runner is disorienting for both the moviegoer and the protagonist, Thomas, played by Dylan O'Brien. We are then introduced to "The Glade" and its members, think Lord of the Flies. The group work together, for the most part, to escape the maze and see what lies beyond the 'The Glade". Once they do, they are shocked by what they find.
We see some of the most talented young actors playing the diverse members of The Glade community: Newt (Thomas Brodie-Sangster - Game of Thrones), Gally (Will Poulter - Chronicles of Narnia and We're the Millers), and Jeff (Jacob Latimore - Black Nativity). The characters were well cast for this movie adaptation. The Maze Runner is full of adventure and humor. I enjoyed unlocking the mystery of the maze and hope you do too. Can't wait to see the next one in the series.
