"Hijack" is a collaboration between 60Forty Films, the production company of Executive Producers Jamie Laurenson and Hakan Kousetta, Idiotlamp Productions (Kay and Field Smith's company), and Green Door Pictures (Idris Elba's production company). It is the first series to debut from Elba's first-look deal with Apple TV+.
