Columbia SkinCare Probiotics Complex and Concentrate Review

The skin is the body's largest organ. Did you know that? I'll be the first to admit that I am not the best at doing what I should to keep my skin healthy and looking flawless. I don't drink all the water that I'm supposed you. You know, because skin care is not just about what you do on the outside but also what you put in your body. I don't always wash my makeup off at night when I wear makeup, etc. I'm sure you can feel me.

It's spring, the time when we focus on new beginnings and renewal. I have been working on a new beginning with my skin and skin care routine. I am so happy that I have a few new products that renew and rejuvenate my skin and give me that flawless glow. What am I talking about? Columbia Skin Care's Probiotic Complex and Probiotic Concentrate.

What's a probiotic?
You've probably seen or heard about probiotics for good digestive health or commercials for yogurts. I am a fan of probiotics. I eat yogurt every morning and I drink GoodBelly probiotic drink daily when my stomach is not feeling well. Probiotics are basically good bacteria (and other microorganisms like yeast, etc.) that help do lots of things such as aid in digestion or even protect you from other bad bacteria.

Why is that important?
Well, bacteria are a part of our everyday world and our bodies. Sometimes when you get sick, your doctor prescribes an antibiotic if the illness is bacterial. Usually, you have either come in contact with a bad bacteria or your good bacteria have increased to a level that is not compatible (good) with your bodies ecosystem. The antibiotic helps to bring your body back to balance so that it can do its thing and repair itself and make you feel better. Probiotics work similarly to help your body have balance and protect you from bad bacteria.

What's so special about Columbia SkinCare Probiotics?
These topical-specific products are cutting edge. The Probiotic Concentrate and Probiotic Complex are the first topically applied creams to "harness the wellness benefits of probiotics specifically for skincare." These products contain probiotics, peptides, and plant stem cells which enhance the skin's ability to rejuvenate and renew itself. They also promote the "natural cleansing of impurities in the cellular system, including residual impurities from other medications and treatments including retinoids." The bonus: you ca obtain all the benefits of retinoids without any of the unwanted side effects.

Results:
By now, I'm sure you realize that I love these products. I do. I have sensitive skin, especially on my face, so I am very particular about the products I use. I was happy that these products got along well with my skin. They have made my skin feel so soft and the skin on my forehead feel a little tighter. As I admitted at the beginning of this post, I am not always the best at skin care so I have still seen a few pimples here and there, but the overall look and feel of my skin are amazing.
