Hello 2017! The New Year's Resolution You Should Make

January 02, 2017

happy new year 2017 written with a sparkler

It's 2017! Can you believe that 2016 has ended? With all of the talented celebrities we lost in 2016, many have said good riddance to 2016 while welcoming 2017. A new year has begun and many people have made, planned, and already failed to keep their new year's resolutions.

At the start of each new year, people subscribe to the mantra - New Year, New Me. However, changing everything about yourself seems a very unrealistic goal and also an unwise one. Instead, the New Year's resolution you should make is to become a better you. This year I am focusing on being my best self. My resolution for 2017 is to be a better Kizzy.

New Year's resolutions, like any other goals, should be SMART: Specific, Measurable, Action-Oriented, Results-Oriented, and Time-based. Use this system to set goals like a millionaire

What are your resolutions for the new year?

I will be looking inward, taking stock and re-centering myself on my core values and what matters most to me: God, family, and love. In 2017, I strive to Unleash the Power Within, hopefully with the help of Tony Robbins. I know that I was made for greatness and I am ordering my steps to achieve my greatness.

During the months that lead up to the end of 2016, I have been educating and preparing myself for 2017. Here are a few people who inspire me to be my best self.
