'VALERIAN AND THE CITY OF A THOUSAND PLANETS' New Image

EuropaCorp has released a new image for Valerian and the City of A Thousand Planets in time for the film’s panel at the 2016 San Diego Comic Con. Valerian and the City of A Thousand Planets is based on a graphic novel series written by Pierre Christin and illustrated by Jean-Claude Mezieres about agents who protect mankind from time rogue travellers.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the upcoming sci-fi blockbuster from French director Luc Besson “ranks as the most expensive European movie ever made” with a budget of almost $200 million. You may not know Luc Besson by name, but you know his films. He directed two of my favorite 90’s movies, Leon: The Professional (1994) and The Fifth Element (1997). If you’ve seen either of these movies, you’ll be excited to see what Besson will do with Valerian and the City of A Thousand Planets.
